Hong Kong stocks fell in early trade, with property-related shares and bank stocks among the decliners as the Hang Seng Index lost 0.9% to 22,362.00. As for mainland Chinese names, the Hang Seng China Enterprises Index fell 2.1% in Hong Kong, while the Shanghai Composite lost 1.7%.Both Japan’s Nikkei Average and Australia’s S&P/ASX 200 spent a little time in negative territory during the opening minutes, but both are higher now, up 0.5% and 0.3%, respectively. The Kospi too is trading lower ar -0.21 % while Jakarta was up by 0.3 %.
