Rolls-Royce Holdings PLC admitted in its annual earnings report that it is being probed by U.S. authorities in an investigation into alleged bribery and corruption. "The Group is currently under investigation by law enforcement agencies, primarily the Serious Fraud Office in the U.K. and the U.S. Department of Justice," the jet-engine company said in its full-year report released on Wednesday. "Breaches of laws and regulations in this area can lead to fines, penalties, criminal prosecution, commercial litigation and restrictions on future business," the company added. In December last year, the U.K. Serious Fraud Office formally launched a probe into suspected bribery and corruption, following allegations of malpractice in Indonesia and China. Earlier in the week, India's defense ministry also said it had ordered an investigation into Rolls-Royce related orders.
