We have seen a spate of data which came out of the US. market over the last few days and today we have seen more of it. The net result is that we have been left confused and in case of confusion then we need something to blame or some one to blame. The weather is the culprit this time round. However the same data or other data coming out with worse outlook emphasizes the fact that all is not well with the country.
Does that stop the stock market in rising further ...it is an emphatic NO. The S&P is now in uncharted territory, where does it go and where will it stop or when will it give up is ride is the question people should be asking. But in case of euphoria one does not think in those lines. Make the best of the ride and commit more and more resources into the ride up. Then when reality hits one take the down ride too.
On a serious note, a good investor, would be making his exit plans and preparing for the worst which is round the corner. The data coming out if not muddled should give an indication of things to come. Will this deter the fed from stopping the tapering process , again no will be the answer. The Feds will react slowly to any down turn .Then we will see the market taking a turn for the worse and the easing process stopped. The lesson learnt then will be quite hard.
